What size DC-DC charger for 200 Ah of lithium?

Any DC-DC charger whose rated output is at or below the bank's published max charge current; use it per the maker's instructions. Two LiTime 12V 100Ah LiFePO4 batteries accept 200 A, so all 3 chargers we list pass; a 40 A charger refills the 2,048 Wh usable in about 3.6 hours of driving calculated. Data updated .

Max charge = the maker's per-battery figure × batteries in parallel calculated. Drive hours = usable Wh ÷ (charger amps × 14.2 V), before charger losses calculated.

Bigger isn't always possible

A charger's output is limited by what the vehicle side can supply; we don't size alternators or cabling. The charger maker's manual sets the install; see alternator charging and safety.
